Who I Am
Hi, I’m Joey Sexton, I’m the owner of Welcome To Medellín and a veteran of the US Army. Let me tell you a little bit about who I am and my purpose.
How do I start it all?
I moved to Medellin from the USA back in 2011 as a suggestion from a friend on Facebook that told me about a beautiful place, with great weather, wonderful people, a lot of constructions, etc. I took a trip over here and I fell in love with Medellin.
I found the weather, the people and the way of living absolutely outstanding. I loved the way I was treated from the moment I arrived. I can tell you story after story.
From an American to other Americans
Back in the US, I was a real estate expert for over 25 years in cities like New York, Tampa, and a few others, and now Medellín – Colombia.
So knowing how everything works in both countries allows me to guide you through the process of purchasing a new place to call home in this beautiful city.

The way I do business in Medellín is more like building a family.
Me and my team will guide you from the moment you are sitting comfortably in your house researching about moving in here from your computer, through the airport, and all the way to your new perfect home in this magical city.
